Bio
Michael
Ferrari
is founder and President of Ferrari Innovation Solutions,
LLC.
He is
dedicated to coaching corporate leaders and the development of strategic
innovation portfolios to those in the digital package print industry.
Michael has built a worldwide reputation through research, speaking
engagements and trade journal articles on the subject of business growth
through packaging.
Michael has played a role in helping several clients launch new game
changing technologies at Drupa 2012.
He is also a guest lecture professor at the University of Florida driven
by his passion for teaching “Reigniting Growth Through Innovation”.
In May 2010, Michael completed a successful career as an R&D Assoc.
Director with thirty two years at the Procter & Gamble Company. His
diverse work experience includes international assignments and he has
developed a deep understanding of consumer and trade needs worldwide.
Throughout his career,
Michael has created consumer-driven disruptive innovation that enabled
Procter & Gamble to ‘win at the first and second moments of truth’.
Recruited and trained top talent to create a world class global R&D
organization. Through his leadership, Michael delivered initiatives to the
marketplace for some of the world’s leading billion dollar brands. He has
been committed to collaboration, innovation and challenging the status quo
to “change the game”.
Michael is a graduate of the
University of Florida with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and graduate
studies in Business Administration. He joined The Procter & Gamble Company
upon graduation in the spring of 1978. Michael currently resides in Cincinnati,
Ohio with his wife. He is the father of three and pursues interests
including international travel, sailing, college football and charity
work. He is a board member and planning chair for nonprofit, Athlete
Connections.

32 Years of
Service at Procter & Gamble
Michael is the sole and
co-inventor of several patents and the winner of the prestigious 2009 and
2010 DuPont Packaging Innovation Award. He is the recipient of two
internal P&G awards - Baby Care’s Presidential Award & the Cost Innovation
Award. He served on the Board of Directors for the Flexographic Technical
Association, and has been a keynote speaker for numerous international and
University events with multiple trade journal publications.
